As our Assistant Manager, you’ll be the General Manager’s right-hand person and the steady presence on shift. You’ll help drive service standards, keep the cabinet and coffee running like clockwork, and make sure the team is set up to win from open to close. You’re not here to stand back and supervise, you’re in it with the crew: greeting regulars, jumping on coffee, solving problems before they become problems, and keeping the floor feeling smooth and welcoming.
 

In your day-to-day:
 

• Support the General Manager with daily operations, reporting , and team performance

• Lead from the floor during service, setting the pace and keeping standards consistent

• Coach and support the FOH team through busy periods, with clear communication and calm energy

• Keep the cabinets stocked, styled, and looking sharp, and make sure coffee service stays quick and consistent

• Help with ordering, stock control, and making sure we’re set up properly for the day ahead

• Handle customer moments with confidence and warmth, turning issues into “we’ll be back” experiences

• Keep the space clean, organised, and running to a high standard

You’ll thrive here if you:
 

• Are confident, friendly, and genuinely enjoy people

• Have leadership experience (or you’re ready for that next step)

• Stay calm under pressure and hold the standard at all times

• Are organised, reliable, and naturally take ownership

• Can be flexible for early mornings and weekend shifts (our prime time)

• Have hospitality experience, barista skills are a big plus
